Our large hall can be used for a wide range of events, including parties, jumble sales, indoor sports, social dinners, performances and much more.
Main Hall
20m x 10m with a wooden sprung sports floor and ‘daylight’ lamps.
Capacity 150 diners around trestle tables ( two sizes), 300 seated for theatrical performances and 400 standing for indoor public entertainment.
There are full length curtains to provide blackout and the windows are designed to reduce solar heat and glare. There are excellent acoustics and a sound and loop system for the hard of hearing. There is a modular stage and piano available. There is direct access to the kitchen with serving hatches to the Main Hall and Foyer.
Foyer
The spacious Foyer doubles as a reception area and/ or bar with a wide serving hatch to the drinks servery in the kitchen.
Kitchen
The Kitchen is modern, clean and well stocked with a catering cooker, hot cupboard, fridges, freezer, drinks cooler, microwave oven, kettles, teapots and crockery and cutlery.
It has serving hatches to both the Main Hall and Foyer.
The generous work surfaces include a stainless steel island.
The use of the kitchen is included with the hire of the Main Hall at no extra charge.
The Gallery
The Gallery is situated on the first floor, 8m x 6.4m. No disabled access as it is by stairs only.
Suitable for small meetings for up to 30 people.
Parking
There is a small, attractive car park and additional roadside parking. Overspill parking is available a short walk away along Maytham Road at the Working Men’s Club.
